We love our house line and long line. We use 550 paracord, bright orange (it even has reflective properties), with a standard clip on one end. Super cheap, super visible, super durable, super strong, and doesn’t get caught on much at all. You can buy 100 feet for under $10.
I feel sorry for your puppy being in a crate so much. Can’t believe you make them sleep in a crate.
The only thing you need is money
I feel you should probably have some hygiene products, at least a brush and a toothbrush. I’m getting a border collie puppy very soon, and having a brush feels fundamental for hygiene purposes. But I also know from past experiences with both dogs and cats that brushing can be challenging at first (it varies), but it becomes a wonderful bonding experience.
