We have a different brand where you can add a tail, feather, etc. Works great for exercise for kitten when I’m making dinner.
Flapping bird is a big hit with our cats.
But you ARE that guy! Be that guy! And I agree with almost all of your reviews. My favorite cat toys are a wand with some actual feathers on the end that don’t have a bunch of plastic garbage attached to them, a stuff-able catnip plush mouse. I attach a string to move it around, myself. It’s so quick and easy to make a little play fort and use with one of these toys. Anyone who might read this by the way, anytime you order anything for your cat, make a big deal of it when it arrives. Look Willow, a package came for you. You have a gift. Treats inside show her the bag of treats and open one up and give it to her. She learns that she got a box. And then of course after you pull everything out, you play with the box! She is so interested every time I say this now. Because she gets a box too. So even if she doesn’t like what’s inside she gets the box. And then make a small fort with the box. Easy to throw a sheet over a chair and play with a toy on a stick around it. 2 minutes. It’s so easy. Sometimes I just put two boxes next to each other with a space in between that she can walk through and next thing you know we have a play area. Anytime I start erecting a new “Fort” she gets curious and excited. Because I say out loud, it’s play time let’s make a fort. Cuz she’s already told me – hey we haven’t played yet today. And I’m saying this is maybe two or three pieces that are easy to put up and then done. Folding laundry? got a box? Make a quick fort with a chair and a pillow or… a box. And then, yeah fold the sheet up and put it away. But don’t tell the guests that we played with their sheet.
One more, put a white sheet on your bed. And then take your feather wand and play with him on the bed. It interests them that you’ve changed something to play with them and even though they may only be interested for a few minutes, you have just seriously bonded with your cat. So easy. One of my favorite videos that Jackson Galaxy does is something like, 8 things your cat loves when you do this or loves you for doing, and somewhere towards the end he says the best thing you can do to make your cat love you more is to play with your cat. No. Really. Go play with your cat. Now. Stop watching this video and go play with your cat it only takes 2 minutes. Go play with your effing cat!
