Don’t agree at all with not feeding dry food such as kibble since it provides additional benefits that wet food doesn’t. Recommend a combination of both, wet primarily for hydration
I struggle with the genie because it is so stinky and never feels clean, which is hard for some folks. Also, it is not always mental health friendly considering how many steps it takes. I switched to a glass compost container (meant for your kitchen), with bags and it really helps!
thanks for this video. I’m seeing if it’s possible for me to invite a cat into my home. I was taking care of a street cat for a few years, but some stuff happened and he’s gone. I am actually devastated by that, just absolutely positively wrecked, and I would like to fill the gap with something that heals me rather than hurts me like some other things I tried.
I do disagree about the “never do dry food!” thing, that just keeps lower income families from having cats. what I would suggest is using wetted dry food, because the previous cat I tried to live with was rather a fan of wetted dry food so long as there are morsels in the food. I get it, I get the impulse, but it’s just a really classist assumption that I’m not sure you’re fully aware of.
Anyone used a cooling pad for their outside cat?
Thank you Jackson! I’ve followed you for a very long time, I binge watched your videos over covid as I was hoping to get a cat or two and wanted to learn more about them. It didn’t happen as my parents aren’t keen on having any. Now my and my partner have been befriended by a stray, she doesn’t seem to have a home as she’s staying with us and I’ve heard she’s not had a home for the past 3 years. We’ve decided to look after her, this video was extremely helpful, I’m gonna see what I can do to get her help and hopefully a permanent home ❤
